New Delhi, 10th Oct. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will run from his traditional Budhni seat, with the BJP releasing the names of 57 more candidates for the assembly elections next month.
According to the BJP’s candidate list, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra will run from the Datia seat.
At its meeting on October 1, the BJP’s central election committee, which included party chief J P Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other top leaders, approved the names of these 57 candidates.
The BJP has so far announced candidates for 136 seats in Madhya Pradesh’s 230-member assembly.
Madhya Pradesh will hold elections on November 17, with vote counting taking place on December 3.
