President Murmu Pays Homage to Former President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, 13th May. President Droupadi Murmu paid homage to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, former President of India on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday (May 13, 2023).

Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed (13 May 1905 – 11 February 1977) was an Indian lawyer and politician who served as the fifth president of India from 1974 to 1977. Born in Delhi, Ahmed studied in Delhi and Cambridge and was called to the bar from the Inner Temple, London in 1928.
