Women’s Press Club of Madhya Pradesh Presents ‘Shakti Award’

Indore, 6th March. Shakti Award ceremony was organized by Women’s Press Club, Madhya Pradesh at historic Gandhi Hall, Indore on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

The Shakti Award was given to 35 women from across the state.

Women’s Press Club Madhya Pradesh has been organizing the Shakti Award in honor of women power on the occasion of International Women’s Day for the past 7 years.

MP Shankar Lalwani, IPS Yang Chen Dolkar Bhutia, Bollywood film actress Richa Sinha, BJP state vice president Jitu Jirati, social worker Yogendra Mahant, social worker Archana Jaiswal Mala Thakur etc. were present as chief guests in this dignified program.

Women journalists who played an important role in society, as well as officers and social workers who made a difference in the social sector, were honored with the *Shakti Award* on this solemn occasion.

Madhya Pradesh Women’s Press Club President Sheetal Roy and Secretary Ritu Sahu stated that the Women’s Press Club Madhya Pradesh has been organizing the Shakti Award in honor of women power on the occasion of International Women’s Day for the past 7 years. The seventh Shakti Award ceremony was held this time at the Heritage Palace Gandhi Hall in Indore city, along with a Holi Milan ceremony with flowers and the felicitated women powers.

Colors of Holi with tribal dance and folk songs

On this occasion, Holi Milan ceremony was also organized with tribal folk songs, in which tribal Bhagoriya dance festival was also organized by the artists of Jhabua. In which Holi was celebrated with great fanfare with the colors of Holi and Bhagoria festival with women powers being honored.
