New Delhi, 16th April.In the last 24 hours, India recorded 975 new Covid-19 cases, with four people dying as a result of the coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

With the addition of new deaths caused by Covid-19, the total number of deaths caused by the coronavirus in the country now stands at 5,21,747.
According to Ministry data, the country saw a total of 796 recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to 98.76%. The total number of recovered items was 4,25,07,834.\
The total number of active Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 11,366, according to the Ministry.
On Saturday, the daily positivity rate was 0.32 percent, while the weekly positivity rate was 0.26 percent.
According to Ministry data, a total of 3,00,918 tests were carried out across the country in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of tests to 83.14 crore.
According to the Ministry, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has resulted in the administration of 186.38 crore vaccine doses.
