4 Killed, 6 Injured in SUV-Truck Collision in MP’s Vidisha District

Vidisha, 7th Sept. Four people from Rajasthan were killed, and six others injured when their SUV collided with a truck in the early hours of Saturday in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh, police reported.

The accident occurred around 4 a.m. on the Biaora-Bina highway near Lateri police station. According to officials, a group of 10 individuals, including seven women from Jhalawar, Rajasthan, was returning from a pilgrimage when their vehicle crashed into a truck. Two women and two men lost their lives in the accident.

The victims were identified as Kishanlal Lodha (60), Vinod Kumar Mali (34), Vardi Bai Lodha (70), and Rajbai Bheel (48).

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his condolences over the tragedy, sharing on X that the state government will provide financial assistance to the victims’ families. He also directed the local administration to ensure proper medical care for the injured.
