Agra- Four people lost their lives, and 19 others sustained injuries when a Varanasi-Jaipur bus collided with a stationary truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway early Saturday morning, police said.
The accident occurred around 5:30 am in the Fatehabad police station area of Agra. According to ACP Fatehabad Amardeep Lal, the deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and one victim is yet to be identified.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Govind (68) and Ramesh (45) from Rajasthan, and Deepak Verma (40) from Agra. The injured were rushed to hospitals, with four receiving treatment at a private facility and the rest admitted to a government hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
