Jaipur, 5th April.
Three resident doctors at a government hospital in Rajasthan were suspended by the government on Thursday due to negligence. This action was taken after a pregnant woman was denied admission to the hospital and had to give birth near the hospital’s entrance, officials reported.

Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education, stated that an inquiry committee was immediately formed to investigate the incident once it was brought to their attention.

Based on the committee’s findings, three resident doctors at Kanwatia Hospital – Kusum Saini, Neha Rajawat, and Manoj – were suspended for their serious negligence and insensitivity. Additionally, a show cause notice was issued to the hospital’s Superintendent, Dr. Rajendra Singh Tanwar, for failing to supervise properly in this case.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the pregnant woman was turned away from the hospital. She went into labor while leaving and had no choice but to deliver her baby near the hospital’s gate, according to officials.
