Thane, 18th August. Activists from the Nationalist Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party clashed on Wednesday in Dombivali, Thane district, Maharashtra, prompting police to arrest 16 of them.
According to a police official, the incident occurred outside a gymnasium in the Bhopar area after a heated exchange between local leaders of both parties over some issue.
Two cross-FIRs (First Information Reports) have been filed.
