Overseas Friends of BJP N. CA (Zone) and other supporting organizations, organized an event NAMO SANGAM to highlight the achievements of current government in India to support and campaign for re-election of Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. More than 400 people participated in the event that was organized in Jain Temple Milpitas, CA.  The event started with Indian patriotic songs by Mandeep Singh, the Mohammad Rafi of the Bay Area, Manisha Pathak, Deepak Sachdev and Alka Bhatnagar.
Chandru Bhambhra, Coordinator of OFBJP – N. CA started the program by welcoming the audience and letting them know the main purpose behind. 
Dr. Romesh Japra, Bay Area community leader and the founder of FIA (Festival of India) and FOG (Festival of Globe) spoke in support of Modiji and said that if one wants to see a glorious India and good support for Indian Diaspora, one should work hard to bring Modiji back to power in 2019 election.
Ashwini Surpur, a community leader talked about Modi’s initiative in getting UN to declare June 21st as the International Day of Yoga, Modi Government’s initiatives for women empowerment including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana for girls, the triple Talak ban to protect Muslim women from mindless divorces, and stricter laws against rape of girls and women.
Niraj Baxi, Immediate Past President of GOPIO said Modiji has taken more of India’s challenges than any other leader. He has successfully tackled
India’s issues in fiscal discipline, financial management, job enlargement-around 6.0-7.0 mil new jobs, growth in turns of defense and infrastructure.For a society to prosper, it needs External peace and safety & security of the Individual.
Vijay Simha, Jt. Gen. Secretary of HSS, said under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi and his vision, India-US bilateral relations have developed into a global strategic partnership based on shared democratic values and increasing collaboration in interests of bilateral, regional and
global issues. This bilateral cooperation is broad-based, multi-faceted covering trade, investment, defense, security, education, science and technology, civil nuclear energy, space technology and applications. The vision, genuine intent of progress for India and India-US relationships and
strong will to get things done and achieve intended objectives, Prime Minister Modi has materialized many of these goals in a timely manner.A zeal in protecting the interests of Bharat embodies the spirit of “Chowkidar” which we all resonate and relate to. Once again Modi for better India and better India-US relations.
Khanderao Kand, Founder GITPRO, FIIDS and Member National Executive – HSS asked the audience, is India more secured now? Is India riots free
now? Is India more developed in electrifications, roads and railway like infrastructure-wise now? Are rural and poor Indians getting health coverage now? The audience responded with a big Yes to all questions. So, he said It’s important to bring this government back to establish India at pinnacle of prosperity.
Jeevan Zutshi the Co-founder of indo-American Community Federation said India has been suffering in the past decades. Prime Minister Modi is the
only choice India has to become one of the greatest countries in the world. He is courageous, full of convictions, extremely hard working and selfless. Vote for Modi!
Dr. Jashubhai Patel, Philanthropist, Board Member PSPA, FIIDS, National Advisory Council from Los Angeles said that the current opposition parties
in India have looted the country since more than 60 years and again are trying to give false promises to people of India. He requested the audience to talk to their friends and relatives in India and explain them what the Modi Government has done in last 5 years and convince them to again vote for him and bring him back as the Prime Minister.
Dr. Raj Salwan, Vice Mayor Fremont said that he was very happy that finally after so many years India has got Mr. Modi as the Prime Minister who has got conviction, courage and will to execute things in the right direction and wished him well to come back as the Prime Minister in 2019 elections.
Rishi Kumar, Council Member Saratoga said India will be known as Before Modi and After Modi. The dynamic leadership of PM Modi has sparked a
huge sense of pride in being Indian that was hitherto missing. The new India is getting things done, fired up. This India is deriving courage from the bold leadership of PM Modi. I have no doubt PM Modi will be elected and will continue India’s progressive path and growth.
After this a Video Clip of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping was played. Then a video conferencing was done with Shri Kailash Vijayvargiyaji, National Gen. Secretary of BJP.
Gaurang Desai is the coordinator for FISI Bay Area chapter, explained efficiency of Modi government in developing India’s infrastructure of rail roads and highways. He compared it with Bay bridge and explained how different and difficult it is to build infrastructure in India without pre-fabricated bricks coming from China as it happens in America and yet Indian workers under the efficient Modi government have achieved a great feat in last 5 years..
Satya Kalra, Founder, Path to Anandam said Modiji is the global leader who created a new image for India. He has put India on a very high pedestal.
We NRIs get special recognition and respect in the word. He is a walking example of True Karma Yogi who works selflessly, righteously with love and
compassion for the benefits of others. I am sure he will make India a Vishwa Guru!
Mahesh Pakala, Founder Cupertino- Bhubaneswar Sister City Initiative said ‘Garibi Hatao’ slogan by Congress translates to free dole money for the
poor to make them lazy and unproductive vote banks since 1975. While BJP helped break the vicious cycle of Muslims sending the kids to Madarasas
free education with no employable skills. They enforced inclusion of skill development and NCERT books to study science, to be employable after
studying in a Madarasas.

Madhavi Jain, Yoga Bharati teacher and faculty, anchored the program, bringing immense energy to the program with poetry and slogans on Modiji.
The program ended with American and Indian National Anthem singing.
