A temple in Sri Lanka which holds Tamil traditions

Jaffna, Sri Lanka: In Sri Lanka, the annual festival at Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil in Jaffna is attracting foreign Hindu pilgrims, especially from India.

Nallur Kandaswamy Temple is one of the few temples in the Peninsula that all the festivals, rites, and observances are practiced as found in the Tamil Saivasim traditions.

It is said to be one of the impressive temples dedicated to Lord Murugan and the festival is celebrated till 25 days where vibrant chariot processions, rhythmic drumming, dancing could be seen.
